Fasting is a powerful, intentional act of faith.

Step out in faith and discover God's best for your life with 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting. This is our annual time as a church family to passionately pursue Jesus, seeking His will and creating space for Him to move. By choosing to put God first, we align our hearts with His promises. The Bible says: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33).

Jesus didn’t say if you fast, but when you fast (Matthew 6:16). It is a choice to deny the flesh in order to nourish the spiritual man and cultivate a deeper intimacy with God

What is fasting?

Simply stated, biblical fasting is refraining from food or other things for a spiritual purpose. The whole point is to remove distractions that would hinder us from growing closer to God. Pray and ask God what He would have you fast from, remembering that it's always about the heart.

Why should I fast?

When we give God our first, we set the course for the entire year. Fasting is a spiritual discipline that helps us remove distractions and obstacles so we can grow closer to Him. It's for breakthrough—whether you need:

  • A fresh encounter with the Lord.

  • Healing, a miracle, or a deep touch from God.

  • Heightened sensitivity to God’s will for your life.

  • To break away from bondages.

As we seek Him together, we align our hearts with the biblical promise: "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33).
