We love people, so we serve.
“So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”
God’s Word commands us as believers to go, to reach outside the four walls of the church (outreach) and spread the Gospel. He also promises to give us the power to do so.
Acts 1:8 tells us that our outreach should include where we live and extend to the ends of the earth. That is why we believe we have a mandate to spread God’s love both locally and globally.
Local
-
We go into our community on the Second Saturday of each month to show hope and compassion to those who may feel alone, unseen, or that possibly might not know the life changing love of Jesus Christ yet. We do this by serving with our time, skills and resources. We provide meals and services while spreading the love of Jesus to those in our community.
-
We push our entire church to be a part of one of our largest outreach opportunities each year, through serving our community with our time and skills. We have a call in scripture to serve others just as Christ served the church and that is what we do. Whether through a free meal, yard work, specific project, care package, etc. we go out to be the hands and feet of Jesus throughout the city and surrounding areas.
-
Each year we invite our church to give above their tithes and offerings to fund spontaneous acts of kindness in our community. From feeding teachers and first responders to surprising strangers with gift cards or popsicles in the park, we get to bless people with no strings attached. Every year, the projects change based on needs and resources, but the heart remains the same—showing love in unexpected ways!

Christmas for Foster Kids
We provide Christmas gifts for foster kids in the community that are in need.
Christmas for Seniors
We provide Christmas gifts for senior citizens in our community that may not have family or that may be in need.
Global
-
Throughout the year we partner with different global mission organizations to take a trip over seas to be a part of what they are doing in countries around the world. Depending on the organization and the location the trips will look different and require different skill sets or select groups of people.
-
In cases of disaster relief we financially support different organizations.
Convoy of Hope
As the need arrises teams are formed to aid in disaster relief through Convoy of Hope.
-
We support this organization by providing shoe boxes full of Christmas gifts for children in need around the world.
