21 DAYS
PRAYER TIMES:
Monday-Friday 6-7pm | Saturday 9-10am
If you feel like God has more in store for your life, 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting is the perfect opportunity to step out in faith and pursue His best for you. This is a time when we come together as a church family, seeking God’s will and praying for all He has entrusted to us. When we choose to put God first, we create space for Him to move in powerful ways. As you dedicate this time to fasting and prayer, you’ll begin to see His hand at work in every area of your life—your relationships, your work, your family, and beyond.
The Bible reminds us of the power of prayer and fasting in Matthew 6:33: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” When we intentionally seek Him, we align our hearts with His and open the door for His blessings and guidance. Are you ready to trust God with your next steps? Join us for 21 Days and see how He will move like never before!

Fasting Basics
Why fast?
Fasting is a choice, but it is also obedience. In Matthew 6, Jesus talks about three duties of every Christian: giving, praying and fasting. And He doesn’t use the word if, He uses the word when.
You could choose not to fast this year, but why would you? Why would you choose to stay where you are when God has so much more for you?
Simply stated, biblical fasting is refraining from food for a spiritual purpose.
According to the Bible, there are three duties of every Christian: give, pray, and fast. Biblical fasting takes a lot of discipline and strength—strength which you can only receive from God. Your private discipline will bring you rewards in Heaven, says Matthew 6.
When you give God your first through fasting, prayer, and giving at the beginning of the year, you set the course for the entire year.
Why should I fast?
Are you in need of healing or a miracle?
Do you need the tender touch of God in your life?
Is there a dream inside you that only He can make possible?
Are you in need of a fresh encounter?
Do you desire a deeper, more intimate and powerful relationship with the Lord?
Are you ready to have heightened sensitivity to the desires of God?
Do you need to break away from bondages that have been holding you hostage?
Is there a friend or loved one that needs Salvation?
Do you desire to know God’s will for your life?
Biblical Fasting Focus
1 Timothy 2:1-2
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people - for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.”
Romans 12:1
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship."
Matthew 6:33
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Isaiah 58:6
"Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?"
Resources
When we began fasting as a church ten years ago, resources for the fast were slim. Today, there are a variety of resources available and are easily accessible.
There are many ways to fast, and many things you can fast, but just like Pastor Derek taught us, it's all about the heart. The whole point of the fast is so we can remove obstacles and distractions that would otherwise hinder us from growing closer to God. What's holding you back? What's taking time away from you spending time in God's Word? Look at those things and pray about what God would have you fast from during these 21Days.
